Bishkek residents need representation and protection of their right to the city, promotion of their interests in municipal bodies. The members of Urban Hub, a community of urban activists (urbanists and environmentalists), have been doing this separately for several years, but in 2022 they decided to join forces and develop a common strategy and work plan with the support of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Representative Office in Central Asia.

As part of the project, a strategy and work plan was developed for the Urban Hub team for 2022 with the overall goal of making Bishkek socially and environmentally fair and convenient for people.
