The representative office of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Central Asia announces a competition for the provision of the following services:
- Conducting a training on anti-harassment and prevention of gender discrimination in the workplace, lasting no more than 4 hours. The training should be aimed at deepening the knowledge of employees and employees who have already received basic training and focus on the development of Kazakhstan's legislation on these topics. 7 people will take part in the training.
- Adaptation of the current policy of RLS on combating sexual harassment and gender discrimination in the workplace to the conditions in Kazakhstan. An adapted policy should take into account local legislation, as well as offer prevention mechanisms and tools to address cases of sexual harassment and gender discrimination, if they have already occurred. The Foundation Policy is a 12-page document in English that includes the following sections: (1) definitions of sexual harassment and gender discrimination; (2) a description of measures to prevent them; (3) the algorithm of actions of the injured person and the RLS to resolve the situations that have occurred.
It is expected that within the framework of the training, the RLS CA team will discuss the possibilities and conditions for using these mechanisms and tools in the office environment.
The language of the training is Russian. At the same time, the policy should be finalized in English.
The training can be held both offline at the office of the Representative Office in Almaty, and online, from November 7 to 9, 2022 (preferred dates, but revision is possible).
The finalized policy must be provided to the Fund no later than December 10, 2022.
To participate in the competition RLS invites specialists (a) with proven experience in conducting trainings on anti-harassment and anti-discrimination in the workplace, (b) with experience in human rights work in Kazakhstan, (c) with experience working with non-profit organizations and civil society, ( d) with knowledge of English and readiness to finalize the internal policy of the Fund in English.
To participate in the competition, you must send the following documents:
- CV;
- Financial proposal, in free form in euro gross (including tax and social charges, if applicable), indicating the proposed date for the training and the timing of the preparation of the finalized policy.
